The Carriagebrooke Farm Homeowners
Association (CFHOA) is a non-profit community organization established during the construction of our neighbhorhood in the early 1990's. It has one goal: to see our community thrive.
Who are members of CFHOA?
You—if you are a homeowner in Carriagebrooke Farm! According to the original bylaws, everyone who owns a house in our community is a member of CFHOA.
What are members supposed to do?
All residents are expected to promote the quality of life in our community by maintaining their properties, obeying architectural standards for exterior home renovations (fences, sheds, etc.), and following accepted standards for property use, parking, signs, etc. Finally, homeowners are also required to pay annual dues to cover expenses for our community's common spaces.
What expenses do our dues pay for?
The CFHOA collects dues to pay for maintaining all public spaces in our neighborhood. This includes upkeep of the community’s landscape, lighting, signage, and irrigation systems. Expenses also include taxes, insurance, utility bills, and document fees for the community.
Who makes CFHOA's decisions, pays the bills, and handles the paperwork?
An elected body of volunteer residents—CFHOA's Executive Board—oversees the day-to-day duties of the CFHOA.
The Executive Board
Since
the early 1990's, a board of elected volunteers has handled CFHOA's
duties. Elected board members must be residents of our community and are
expected to serve a 3 year term. Elections were last held in January 2021.
